Clean Technology Practice

We're not environmentalists; we're pragmatists. We believe strongly that investments in renewable energy and clean technologies are essential to innovating our way out of the current economic and environmental mess.

That's why Beaupre, in partnership with our parent company, Brodeur Partners, launched a Clean Technology Practice. Our team is helping start-ups and established companies gain public support for eco-friendly technologies that will create economic growth, cut energy costs

and stave off potential environmental crises. And altruistic reasons aside, we think "cleantech" could be the largest economic opportunity of the next several decades.

Our Clean Technology Practice is focused on companies developing biofuels; solar and wind power; water purification technologies; and other green products that eliminate energy and material waste. Our cleantech clients tap our expertise to help them educate and influence public policy, as well as increase their sales, valuation and visibility. We also help established companies communicate new sustainable business practices and initiatives to employees, customers and the public.

But standing out in a sea of green at time when seemingly every company is embracing some kind of "sustainability" or "environmental" moniker requires ingenuity, reach and experience and most important, authenticity. Our proven methodologies have helped hundreds of companies break out of their market obscurity or competitive parity to be seen as the industry leaders and technological innovators they truly are. Beaupre/Brodeur Partners' Clean Technology Practice draws on 23 years of experience in business and consumer technology and the firm's global reach – 80 offices in 50 countries across EMEA, and North and South America – to provide world-class communications programs for environmental technology companies.

Helping clean technology companies prosper requires more than a conventional public relations program. A combination of public opinion, public financing, private investment and corporate initiatives drives the market. We have assembled a world-class team with the knowledge and expertise to advise clients on how to win attention in each of those areas. We achieve results by integrating the brightest minds in public policy and advocacy, strategic messaging, branding, social media, digital marketing and media relations.

Clean technology has reached a point where it needs even greater support from investors, public policy makers and the public to blossom. With more than two decades experience counseling technology and consumer companies, we can measurably help clean technology companies achieve their strategic endgames as they help everyone profit from the next wave of green technology innovation.

Green @ Beaupre

Beaupre has put in place a sustainable office program with realistic goals that are manageable for staff.

Beaupre volunteers created a green team called the "Green Monsters." They audit Beaupre's environmental standing, and recommend strategies to reduce waste and save energy. The Green Monsters focus on several key areas including: energy usage, paper consumption and recycling. They educate the staff on sustainable measures by sponsoring programs and sending weekly "Turning Green" e-mails with information and best practices on sustainability topics. Tips and reminders are posted throughout the office.

The Green Monsters not only educate, but also monitor company progress and enforce green standards. For example, when the team evaluated company kitchens, they quickly concluded all plastic and styrofoam cups, plates, bowls and utensils needed to go. The team found a home for these items with a local school, and then replaced them with sustainable products that can be washed and reused.

Sustainability doesn't happen overnight, but small steps have made a big difference at Beaupre.
